Loose sweatshirt or loose dress or nightdress.Very comfortable loose shape with dropped shoulders.Sweatshirt: hip length, dress: above the knee.In jersey, it becomes a loose tee-shirt or a nightgown. Optional armhole ruffles for girls. Ribbed or stretch material at the bottom of the body, cuffs and collar.

(perfect for boys and girls, but only convenient for women, not for men; would be too small for men)

What you will learn with this pattern: put a ribbing at the neck, cuffs and lower body, assemble ruffles at armholes.

Size range for women: 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46 (French sizes)

Age range for kids: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 years (see size chart)

Fabric recommendations:

Terry fabric, Jersey (to get a loose sweatshirt), Cotton or cotton/elastan
second fabrics : Rib fabric (for cuffs, collar and bottom band)

How to pick the right size for women:

The pattern goes from French sizes 34 to 46 for an average height of 165cms. It is recommended that you look at your measurements and choose first the most suitable pattern size. If you hesitate between 2 sizes, it is better to choose the larger of the 2.

This video is for both patterns (for kids and Mum’s). Just note that we mentionned seam allowances of 0,7cm …this is for children! For women, the seam allowances are 1cm.
